Farm Wedding in Squamish BC -Sitka Farms

ATTN FUTURE NEWLYWEDS: Your wedding day does not have to include 120 people if you don't want it to. Sometimes it's 120 of your friends & family; Sometimes its you & 30 of your loved ones; And sometimes it's just you, your love & a beautiful, romantic set up in the mountains. At least that's what it looked like for Jen & Abby.

The pandemic definitely forced people to make a tough decision - to get married or to postpone. But I think it was a blessing in disguise for so many couples out there. It forced them to realize they didn't even want that large wedding to begin with. It made this generation realize that you could still have a beautiful wedding day without inviting all of your parent's coworkers & friends. The day can be just as special, or even more so, with just the two of you!

Jen & Abby showed up in their huge truck, wearing matching flannels, ready to get all dolled up & celebrate their love. Add in the most AMAZING vendor team a couple could ask for, and it lead to the most perfect day. This elopement was a dream come true, and I am so blessed to have been a part of it.

If you're looking for the perfect West Coast venue for your intimate wedding, Sitka Farms is the place to book! Mountain views, the most beautiful barn venue, walking distance to a nearby creek - oh, and GOATS to hug! What more could you want? All the other details were the perfect touch to make the setting even more beautiful. Estefani from De la Flore created this stunning floral arch for the ceremony, and a magical hanging installment for their sweetheart table. Not to mention the TWO gloriously beautiful bouquets for the brides. Abby wore a stunning two-piece bridal set from Fern and Moon - she looked so comfortable & casually chic, and the pieces are perfect for wearing again! She completed her look with a simple veil from Davie & Chiyo. Jen opted for a white casual suit from H&M, and to jazz her look up - a stunning hair piece from Davie & Chiyo. Both ladies were dolled up by Henrietta - Makeup and Hair (she is so talented!). Her skills were the final touch to Jen & Abby looking drop-dead gorgeous for their wedding day.

They completed their beautiful set up with an absolutely STUNNING (and damn tasty) cake from Cakes by Peddie. After their ceremony, they tore through a charcuterie board created by The Board Babe Club. They sent off stunning announcements to their friends & family, which were hand-painted by the incredibly talented Moss & Marble Design. Finally, the day could not have gone as smoothly as it did without the help & skills of Remy June Events. She made sure every detail was perfect, and organized all of the vendors so we could all come together and make Jen & Abby's dream come true. (Hot tip: Hire a planner/day-of-coordinator - it truly does make the whole experience so much smoother).

I'm truly still dreaming of this day. The weather was iffy for the entire set up process, but as soon as they exchanged their vows, it cleared up & was the perfect weather for portraits. We all sobbed while they exchanged their vows (they played rock-paper-scissors to decide who went first because they both knew they would both be crying), and cheered as they popped champagne to celebrate! I absolutely love witnessing my clients express their love for each other & making it official. This day was truly perfect!
