Secret Garden Wedding in Abbotsford

Wow! That's all I can say to describe this beautiful day that I was lucky enough to spend with Emilee & Dylan. Fun fact: When we were younger, Emilee & I played ringette together for most of our youth (it's kind of like hockey.. but not...). We lost touch over the last 9 years, but when she reached out to me to shoot her wedding, I was ecstatic.

Dylan & Em have been together for 9 years; they already have two beautiful kids together and have started a wonderful life as a family. All that was missing was making thing official! Safe to say, this wedding day was a long time comin'! They could not have planned a more perfect day, despite the weather forcing us inside. But with a venue like The Secret Garden at Woodbridge Ponds; you can't even be mad about being inside the whole day.

One of my favourite moments during the day was when we snuck away, just the three of us, and I told them both to just relax, take it all in & have a drink. They had such a tight timeline for the day, and were busy not only getting married, but looking after their two littles as well; so having that time where we weren't shooting or talking to anyone, was a blessing. Another few favourites were the time Dylan dropped the ring during the ceremony (don't worry, he found it), the speeches by the MOH and Best Man that made us all laugh & cry, and the whole bridal party whipping out some sick dance moves to "The Git Up". Legit, they all knew every move; I was jealous.

It was a truly beautiful day to celebrate the amazing love these two share. I wish them nothing but happiness & success, and I am so grateful that I was there to witness it all.
